Copper Country Senior Meals

The mission of the Senior Meals program is to provide nutritious food and a wellness check so that the seniors in our community feel neither hungry nor isolated. The program receives money in grant form from federal and state agencies, but that money does not cover the complete cost of providing the meals served. There is a suggested donation for meals, but nobody is turned away if they cannot afford to donate. The program serves hundreds of seniors in Houghton and Keweenaw counties.
