Copper Country Habitat For Humanity

Copper Country Habitat for Humanity partners with families in Houghton, Baraga, and Keweenaw counties to assist with access to safe and affordable housing. Their housing solutions include new home construction and rehabilitation of homes needing critical repairs. In addition, they provide ramp installation services to the disabled and elderly.

Habitat for Humanity is a partnership, not a giveaway program—families buy the houses that Habitat builds and renovates. Habitat homeowners also invest hundreds of hours of their own labor working alongside volunteers. As a result, Habitat for Humanity houses are affordable to low-income families in our own community, as well as across the world.
