Lake Linden

A community resource to provide the community with non-perishable food items, refrigerated items, frozen items, and other daily necessities. Take what you need and leave what you can. No questions asked and everyone is welcome.

A volunteer project providing a beautiful, peaceful, and friendly garden space in central Houghton for people of all local communities to gather, garden, and grow.

Hancock

Provides Hancock residents the opportunity to grow healthy, affordable, fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, and herbs for their households

Hancock

Provides emergency food for people in need. Open Monday – Thursday 10 am to 3 pm. The Pantry is closed from 12:30 to 1:00 daily for lunch. ID and proof of income are required. Those in need can visit the food pantry monthly.

Food Pantry & Financial Aid on Quincy Street in Hancock, open Wednesdays from 1 – 3 pm.

Provides breakfast and lunch for children 18 and younger Monday through Friday all summer long, and during some school breaks.

As Shoppers, Owners relate directly to the staff team who are responsible for store operations. As voting Members, Owners elect the Board of Directors who, in turn, hires and supervises the General Manager (GM).

The Board of Directors hires and supervises just one operational employee: the General Manager. All subsequent staff supervision is fully delegated to the General Manager, who has sole discretion over all subsequent operational decisions.
